1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies (local storage, session storage, web beacons, pixels) serve comparable purposes. In this Policy we use "cookies" as shorthand for all such technologies.
This Policy explains what cookies we use on omnioview.com, why we use them, how we obtain your consent, and how you can manage your preferences.
2. Our Consent Approach (§25 TDDDG / GDPR Art. 6)
No non-essential cookies are set before you give active, informed consent. When you first visit the site a cookie consent banner is displayed. Only strictly necessary cookies are active at that point. All other cookie categories (Preferences, Analytics, Marketing) remain blocked until you explicitly accept them via the banner.
This approach implements the opt-in requirement of §25 TDDDG (Telekommunikation-Digitale-Dienste-Datenschutz-Gesetz) and is consistent with the guidance of the German supervisory authorities. The following principles apply:
- Opt-in only: non-essential cookies require a positive act of acceptance. Pre-ticked boxes, continued browsing, or scrolling do not constitute valid consent.
- Granular choice: you can accept or reject each cookie category independently.
- No cookie walls: refusing optional cookies does not prevent access to our core service, including signing into an existing account.
- Equally easy withdrawal: you can withdraw or change consent at any time via the "Cookie Preferences" link in our website footer. Withdrawal takes effect immediately.
- Consent records: we record the date, time, and scope of each consent so we can demonstrate compliance if required.
Consent management
Consent is collected and managed through our on-site cookie banner. Your consent choices are stored in a first-party necessary cookie (cookie_preferences) so your selections are remembered on return visits. Consent is re-requested if our cookie categories change materially or after 12 months.

If enabled, these cookies help us understand how users interact with the Service. Not set until you give consent. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in improving the Service), subject to prior consent under §25 TDDDG.
At the time of this version, omnioview.com does not set any third-party analytics cookies by default. If we introduce product analytics in the future, this Policy will be updated and your prior consent obtained before any such cookie is set.
Marketing cookies — opt-in required
omnioview.com does not currently use marketing cookies. If introduced, legal basis will be Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent) and we will obtain prior consent via the banner before any such cookie is set.
4. Third-Party Services and International Data Transfers
The Service is operated on infrastructure provided by third parties. The following services are strictly necessary for delivering omnioview.com and do not set marketing or analytics cookies on your browser.
